Crispy Tofu

This is delicious tofu main goes perfectly with noodles or simply rice and stir fried vegetables. It’s easy, healthy and yummy and our tofu comes in a jar so plastic free.

INGREDIENTS

1 pack of tofu

3-4 tbsp soy sauce or tamari

1-2 garlic cloves

1 tbsp fresh grated ginger

1 tbsp sesame oil

1tbsp rice vinegar

1-2 tsp sugar, honey or date syrup

1 tbsp sunflower oil

METHOD

Drain the tofu and cut into 1 inch cubes

Mix all the other ingredients together (apart from the sunflower oil) and pour the marinade over the tofu.

​

Cover and refrigerate overnight (or even longer if you are very organised!)

​

When ready to make, heat the oven to 180 degrees.

​

Lightly grease a baking sheet with the sunflower oil and arrange the tofu on a single layer.

​

Bake for 50-60 mins, turning the tofu at least once during baking until it is brown and crispy.
