How to use them:
They can be sprinkled on salads, used in baking, added to smoothies, porridge or granola or made into their own chia pot for breakfast.
Chia pot: Mix 1/4 cup chia seeds with 2/3 cups of your favorite non-dairy milk to make a light, tapioca-like pudding that can be eaten plain or mixed with fresh or dried fruit, seeds or nuts with some spices thrown on top.
As an egg replacement in baking:
To replace one egg, use 1 tablespoon of chia seeds mixed with 3 tablespoons of water and let the mixture sit for 15 to 20 minutes or you can prepare it the night before. Mix the chia seeds and water together in a small bowl and let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes until the mixture becomes gel. Advised maximum daily intake: 15g
